Secretary to the Finance Ministry S.R. Attygalle have tested positive for COVID-19.
He has been directed to quarantine at the moment.
Attygalle had participated at a media briefing held at newly opened Presidential Media Centre recently along with Secretary to the President P.B Jayasundera and several other ministry secretaries. President’s Media Spokesperson Kingsley Rathnayake moderated the media briefing.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the female journalist who attended the media briefing was tested positive for COVID-19.
