Actress Anusha Damayanthi lodged a complaint at Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today (23) over some social media posts which allegedly tarnish her image.
There were posts on Facebook earlier allegening that Damayanthi and Public Security Minister Sarath Weerasekara had personal connections and Weerasekara interfered with a Police investigation regarding Damayanthi.
Damayanthi, who vehemently refused these claims appeared before the CID this morning and lodged a complaint against those who spread the said rumor on social media.
