A special team of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) will visit IUSF Convener Wasantha Mudalige in remand prison, the HRCSL announced today.
Mudalige was remanded again to 13 January 2023 when he was produced to Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage on last Thursday (5).
The case filed against Wasantha Mudalige on multiple counts including the refusal to accept a court order against a protest opposite the Fort Railway Station, and obstructing the duties of police officers was taken up in Court.
