Police Spokesperson SDIG Ajith Rohana has been appointed as a director of National Child Protection Authority (NCPA).
It is reported that this appointment will be valid for three years.
During a recent media briefing at Department of Government Information regarding protecting children from abuses, SDIG Rohana noted that the authorities will put in a place a five year national level action plan to enact the long delayed National Chid Protection Policy.
He said that both the Grandpass Children and Women Bureau and Police Cyber Crimes Division come under his purview during the media briefing.
