No more musical shows, and gatherings at Galle Face Green The Cabinet has decided that Galle Face Green will only be used as a site for the public to spend their time in an undisturbed manner, from 20 April.
Accordingly, Galle Face Green will not be made available for any musical festival, political meetings or other mass gatherings except for religious events.
