Imprisoned former MP Ranjan Ramanayake today attended a funeral of his close relative amidst a tight security.
The funeral was held in Negombo.
Ramanayake who is serving a four year prison sentence for contempt of Court, arrived from Angunakolapelessa Prison following a request of his relatives who sought permission of Prison Department for Ramanayake to attend the funeral.
SJB MP Harin Fernando also met Ramanayake at the funeral
