Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has designated Dr. Ajith Mendis as the incoming Chairman of the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation.
The former Chairman, Sarath Liyanage, faced removal due to various allegations under the Minister’s purview.
Dr. Mendis, previously the Director General of Health Services, is slated to commence his role on the 17th of this month.
