Sri Lanka surpassed 5000 COVID-19 deaths since the first wave of the pandemic today (7).
The country’s total COVID-19 death toll is now remain 5017.
According to the Department of Government Information, 98 COVID-19 patients have passed away on Friday (6). Out of them, 78 victims were aged over 60 years.
